Kaikondrahalli kere
• Lake Area - ~18 hectares
• One inlet from KasavanahalliLake and one outlet to Saul kere
• Restored with community participation
• Ongoing struggle to keep encroachments and sewage inflow under check
Kasavanahalli kere
• Area - ~21 hectares
• Catchment Area - ~793 hectares
• Two main inlets and one outlet which allows overflow to Kaikondrahalli lake
• Moderate pollution levels
Chikka Kudlu kere
• Area - ~4.5 hectares
• Catchment Area - ~100 hectares
• Many inlets on the southern side allowing for sewage inflow from residential layouts
• One outlet on north eastern side facilitates overflow to Haralur Lake
• Lake covered with Water Hyacinth
Dodda Kudlu kere
• Lake Area - ~18 hectares
• Catchment Area- ~320 hectares
• Has three inlets
• Pollution levels are moderate –
Based on the Dissolved Oxygen
levels at Inlet, Outlet and Middle region
Parapana Agrahara kere
• Lake Area - ~7 hectares
• Catchment Area- ~149 hectares
• Has three inlets and one outlet
connected to Dodda Kudlu kere
• Currently dry with alleged dumping for construction activities
Doddakanneli kere
• Lake Area - ~9 hectares
• Being rejuvenated - Desilted, Stone pitched side walls, Fenced with walking
paths, Sewage Diversion
Dodda Ambalipura kere:
• Area - ~5.47 hectares
• Located in military area.
• All inlet and outlet kaluves
completely blocked
• Partially fenced
Chikka Ambalipura kere:
• Area - ~2.9 hectares
• Encircled by residential
buildings on all sides
• Restoration complete
Iblur kere:
• Area - ~7.3 hectares
• Heavy encroachments by Real
Estate developers
• Untreated sewage inflow
Haralur kere:
• Area - ~9.58 hectares
• Healthy water body
• Inlet from Kudlu kere and
outlet to Kasavanahalli kere

Junnasandra kere:
• Area – 4.67 hectares
• Dry – No upstream lake to feed
/ Encroachment of inlet kaluves
Haddosiddapura kere:
• Trees planted in the lake bed
• Residential layout coming up adjacent to the lake

• Area - ~4.64 hectares
• Drying due to blocked kaluves
• Surrounded by private
property (Adarsh)
• Alleged sewage inflow from
nearby STP
Halanayakanahalli kere:
• Area - ~17 hectares
• Inlet is being used for dumping
construction rubble.
• No fencing or boundary fixed.
