How it Works Solar panels turn sunlight
directly into DC electricity
A device called an inverter turns the DC electricity into AC electricity which the appliances in the house use
How it Works cont.
The inverter is wired into the electrical service panel or load side of a meter.
So, during the day when the sun is shining the system is producing electricity, and whatever is running in the building is being powered by the solar system.
How it Works cont.
The property is still connected to the electrical grid, so there is no need for any storage of electricity.
What Makes a property Qualified? South-ish facing roof for pitched roofs
