Product OverviewSULFONATED ASPHALT is an asphaltic mud additive that has been reacted with sulfite to add anionic complex molecular structure. Sulfonates help make the water dispersible. Consists of proprietary blend that stabilizes shale format ions, aids in API fluid loss control, and lowers HPHT fluid loss in water - based drilling fluids.

Recommended ApplicationUsed to stabilize wellbores

and as a filter - cake additive for water and oil - base muds. Treating agent with the effect of leaking stoppage, collapse prevention, lubrication, drag reduction, and inhibition. Can be added Directly to the Mud System through the Mixing Hopper with a good Agitation system.
