BREEDING CATTLE
One of HUNLAND’s main profiles is the trade with high quality breeding cattle. The well-known Holstein Friesian breed, is due to its high milk production the most exported.
HUNLAND exports breeding cattle from the USA, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Hungary to countries all over the world. To fulfill the requirements of all clients, the selection of the animals is done by the customer and HUNLAND’s professional cattle specialists.
SLAUGHTERING AND FATTENING CATTLE
The trade of slaughtering cattle and cattle for fattening is another important activity of HUNLAND.
The company is able to supply a variety of cattle breeds for fattening or slaughtering from own farms where large numbers of animals are on stock.
Often exported breeds are Simmental, Limousin, Charolais or Belgian Blue.
LAMBFrom Hungary and Romania HUNLAND exports lambs from the Merino sheep, a high quality breed with excellent meat.
HUNLAND owns several fattening farms in Hungary. Because of large quantities of animals on stock HUNLAND is able to deliver the same quality standard anytime. On all of the companies farms, the animals are kept in group accommodation according to EU standards. The growing and harvesting of the food for the animals is done in-house.
BEEF FARMS
HUNLAND has several modern dairy farms. In these farms HUNLAND can show different kinds of genetics to buyers of dairy breeding cattle. The produced milk is traded through the own company MILKTRADER.
DAIRY FARMS
HUNLAND possesses a fleet of more than 75 trucks for transportation of livestock, meat and milk. All trucks comply with the latest EU requirements in the field of animal welfare. Beside of road transport the company also has lots of experience with the transportation of live animals via aircraft and boat to destinations all over the world.

SHIPPING
Since 2012 HUNLAND has its own vessel called MV PHOENIX1 which is consecutively carrying cattle to several destinations on the Mediterranean Sea.
During each voyage HUNLAND’s own veterinary and stockmen take care of the wellbeing of the animals. The MV PHOENIX1 gives HUNLAND the possibility to absolute control during the overall export process from the farm of origin till the final destination.
