Grant and Megan Catley owned and operated a 170ha, 330 cow dairy operation in their home country New Zealand. Together they built this property from a 65ha operational dairy farm to a 170ha operation by converting 110ha of forestry to farm land. The conversion process took 3 years and during the process they increased herd size from 165 cows to 330 cows. All young stock were farmed on the same platform. Megan specializes with young stock, animal health and husbandry and herd insemination programs. While Grant manages the milking platform, re-grassing programme, repairs and maintenance and pasture management.
