Account manager The Connect Group, a progressive full service marketing agency providing a single source entrée into the culinary, beverage and hospitality worlds, is looking for an account manager to be a part of our growing agency. The position entail’s wearing many different hats, but will have a primary focus on working within a small team to create, execute and manage a culinary marketing and PR strategy for a commodity based food client. In addition, the account manager will be involved in new business development, talent marketing, strategic agency growth and the day to day operations of the business. Responsibilities: Actively be part of team which creates and implements a strategic marketing, PR and promotional platform for clients, including day to day client engagement, buzz marketing, negotiation of contractual partnership terms, oversight of property sponsor elements and delivery of contracted assets. Work with senior leadership to create, write and build sales presentations and proposals Participate in new business programming and presentations Assist with talent marketing and day to day management of Celebrity Chef clients Prospect new business opportunities for agency and work hand in hand with senior leadership in all sales and marketing efforts Other roles as designated by management Qualifications: A minimum of 3-6 years of agency or client-based account management experience. Specific disciplines could include, sponsorship marketing, talent/celebrity marketing, event marketing, new business development, public relations, property management and/or sponsor servicing in the culinary, sports, lifestyle or entertainment industries Passion for food & drink industry and desire to be part of exploding culinary marketing sector Must have an strong work ethic, creative thought process, entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter mentality Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Diligent networker with deep desire for personal growth Extensive experience and working knowledge of social media as a marketing and PR tool A positive, outgoing, do whatever it takes attitude Interested candidates can send resume and salary requirement to [email protected] About The Connect Group The Connect Group is a strategic, intelligent and entrepreneurial agency providing a single source entrée into the culinary, beverage and hospitality worlds for brands, talent and media alike.
