Dress Up Cookies



• Dust the surface with a thin layer of flour.

• Gently roll out the cookie dough (approx 1cm thick).

• Cut the cookie dough with a gingerbread man cookie cutter and bake till golden brown around the edges. • Make sure the cookies are

completely cooled before decorating.

Dress Up Cookies



• Dust the surface with a thin layer of cornflour.

• Knead and roll out some ivory gumpaste (approx 2-3mm thick).

• Use the same gingerbread man cutter and glue the cut out onto the cooled cookie.

• Knead and roll out some white fondant

• Always make sure the paste is not stuck to the table before cutting.

Dress Up Cookies



• Roll 5 pea sized balls of lime green paste.

• Roll these into long strips. • Brush thin horizontal lines

of glue on the white fondant and glue the green stripes down.

• Press the down slightly.

• Roll over the green strips till they blend in with the white fondant.

• Cut the paste using the gingerbread man cookie cutter (only the middle is

needed).

• Cut off the legs, arms and the head to make the suit.

• Use a small round cutter to cut out the neck and arm holes.

• Brush the back with a thin layer of glue and place the swim suit in place, gently press down to make sure it sticks.

• Roll a small ball of yellow fondant into a long strip with one pointy end and one flat end.

• Curl each strand of hair. • Repeat 3 times. • Brush a thin layer of glue

around the edge of her head.

• Glue each stand into place.

• For her fringe, curl in the thin end, similar to a snail shell and glue it into place.

• Finish with a small flower. • You can also use bows instead

of flowers.

• Use the thin end of the veining tool, point up away from the fondant, to indent her smile (its much easier to follow the curve of her face by turning her upside

down). • Draw on some freckles

using the edible place food pen (3 on each side).

• Draw two small ovals for her eyes and draw on a few eye laches.

• Roll a very small ball using the ivory fondant and glue her nose into place.

• Optional: At this stage add bows to her swim suit, more flowers in her hair, brush with pearl lustre dust or sprinkle on some glitter etc …

• Repeat cookie steps… insert a skewer into the cookie before baking.

• Roll out some black fondant and use the same sunglasses cookie cutter.

• Brush a thin layer of glue on the back and glue to the cooled cookie.

• Roll out some lime green fondant and cut out using the sunglasses cookie cutter.

• Cut off the top and strip and glue onto the black fondant.

• Paint on some white lines using the bright white gel paste for the reflection on the sunglasses.
