About the Exhibition

With the changing scenario of agriculture, it is vital for the farmers to acquaint to the new

technologies and adapt to the latest equipment to keep up with the recent advancements.

Innovation in science and technology has made the laborious process of agriculture much

simpler. With the latest technologies farmers are able to harness more, reaping the benefits

of the advanced equipment.

With such tech savvy aim, the Agritech Asia exhibition is held once in a year and it is one of

the leading international events of its kind to showcase international agriculture

technologies. The 4th edition of the exhibition, Agritech Asia 2014 was organized during 3rd

– 5th September, 2014 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The exhibition was

organized jointly by Agriculture and Cooperation Department , Government of Gujarat and

Radeecal Communications. Holland participated as the partner country for the exhibition.

Agritech Asia 2014 International Exhibition and Conference witnessed around 1,00,000

visitors from India and abroad. This dynamic event on Agriculture observed participation

from farmers, agronomists, biotechnologist, government officials, policy makers, experts and

practitioners & trainers in agriculture. The exhibition showcased 174 exhibitors from 14

countries including USA, Israel, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Japan, Germany, Canada and Holland.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Smt. Anandiben Patel inaugurated Agritech Asia 2014 on

3rd September, 2014 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar and was kept open for the visitors for

three days. Visitors from entire country had visited the exhibition for the empowerment of

the Agricultural Industry. Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture, Shri. Radha Mohan Singh,

also visited Agritech Asia 2014 on second day of this international event.

Agritech Asia 2014 had also 2nd edition of Animal & Dairytech Asia as its concurrent event

which has proven a perfect platform for the Animal Husbandry, Live stock, Poultry, Dairy

Farming and Veterinary. Many companies had participated from all these sectors and

experienced very good scope in these sectors.

Entire exhibition was organized in 3 different Exhibition halls and one Seminar hall of

Mahatma Mandir covering ~15,000 sq. mts. area.

The event was sponsored by Ginegar Plastic Products Pvt. Ltd. (Israel) and was supported by Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd., iNDEXTb, Irrigation Association of India (IAI), Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and CLFMA.
