The Supervising RVT will ensure that scheduling allows for optimum use of Clinic/Station 3 personnel. 2. The Supervising RVT is responsible for inventory in both clinics. Doing a count on items as needed, ordering at correct intervals for changing usage throughout the year. 3. Supervising RVT will meet with the Veterinarians for updates in any medical procedures or additions of medications in procedures. 4. Supervising RVT will review P & Ps applicable to clinic staff and update as needed.

5. The Supervising RVT oversees the operation of the clinics during the day, watching quality of work, teamwork and ensuring outstanding animal care.

6. The Supervising RVT is responsible for the evaluations of the staff assigned to him/her. This is to be done in a timely manner and will be turned in prior to the due date. The Supervising RVT will meet with staff once a month to provide coaching and feedback, making sure all issues and or training issues are addressed, correcting with staff any and all Chameleon errors and providing moral support and encouragement when needed.

7. The Supervising RVT will assist clients with any questions or concerns in respect to any treatment procedure offer at O.C. Animal Care that falls within their scope of duties and covered by their license or direction from Veterinarian.

8. The Supervising RVT will discuss with Clerical Supervisors any concerns with special attention animals, any staff issues, advice and assist in any changes to procedures in Kennel/clinic area.

9. The Supervising RVT will report directly to the Chief of Shelter Services any and all conflicts, problems or maintenance issues.

10. The Supervising RVT will review and update the Policy and Procedures that pertain to either clinic or personnel assigned to the clinics on a regular basis, or as changes occur and will update and circulate.

11. The Supervising RVT will do daily inspections and meet with the Chief to discuss any staffing issues that will be placed in personnel files for discussions for evaluation purposes or for improvement plans with person involved.

12. The Supervising RVT will stay current on animal medications, housing and procedures and pass along this information to staff.

13. The supervising RVT will do random quality checks of treatments and housing of animals in the Station 3 area and make recommendations and counsel employees as needed.
