Energy Africa is already playing a key influencing role. DFID has been working with partners such as CDC, AfDB and Acumen to increase fund investments in the off-grid solar sector. For example, with DFID support the GCF approved the $25m for the Acumen KawiSafi Ventures Fund for off-grid solar in East Africa.
