Board Elections…

The management of the corporation shall be vested in a Board of Directors consisting of no more than eleven (11) persons and no less than five (5) persons.

A general election to select members of the Board of Directors of the corporation shall be held annually in October. All [members] of the corporation attending the meeting are eligible to vote.

The candidates receiving the highest number of votes up to the number of directors to be elected shall be elected. Each Associate shall cast one vote, with voting being by ballot only.

Board Elections…Laura Berger

• Worked directly with breastfeeding families from 1989 through 2010.

• Taught breastfeeding classes in English and Spanish

• Regular participant in the Madison Breastfeeding Promotion Network

•  Member of the Breastfeeding Coalition of SC Wisconsin since it was founded

• Coordinated the pumping friendly sites project and assisted with the 2012 Community BF Awards and the 2012 BF Symposium.

Board Elections…Emily Shier

• DONA-certified Doula in south-central Wisconsin, supporting families prenatally, in labor, in birth

• Doula trainer• Mother of four breastfed children • Steadfast community breastfeeding

advocate

Board Elections…Brenda Trudell

• Family chiropractor focusing on women's health, pregnancy and pediatrics

• Focus on working with pregnant women and on natural childbirth.

• DONA-trained Doula• Passionate about all aspects of parenting

and breastfeeding• Co-founder of the South Central WI

Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network in 2008, and acted as co-leader until October 2012.
