Hatirjheel Project Hatirjheel made transportation much easier for

the people living near Tejgaon, Gulshan, Badda, Rampura, Mouchak and Maghbazar. This project was primarily created for accumulating rainwater, for preventing flood, reducing the rate of impure water, and above all for moderating traffic jams.

Outcome of the survey

From this survey, I came to know that people surrounding Hatirjheel becoming more reliant on this project in various aspects such as using this as a transportation route, as a relaxation place, as a well-planned accumulating system of water, as a prevention system of flood. But, it is interesting that some people are being involved with this project to earn their livelihood.

Upshot

Hatirjheel project introduced a new era in densely populated Dhaka city. Above all, people are satisfied with this project more or less. But, there are also some aspects, in which it can be developed.
