A Certified Public Accountant for more than 25 years with Greene & Company, LLP, in Melville, NY, Adam Greene has utilized his professional success to give back to those in need. One of the projects that Adam Greene, CPA, supports is the Father Fred Memorial Foundation, based in Traverse City, Michigan.

The original organization was established

in 1989 by Catholic priest Father Edwin

“Fred” Frederick after many residents

were left with little support when the

Traverse City State Hospital was closed.

Father Fred died in 2000, and the word

“memorial” was added to the

foundation’s name.

Each year, the organization supports nearly 6,000 families and individuals throughout a five-county region, and in 2013, it raised more than $1.5 million in financial aid, food furniture, clothing and other supplies. In the spirit of tolerance and compassion, the foundation treats people of all denominations and beliefs with humility and respect. By coordinating with local businesses and dedicated volunteers, the Father Fred Memorial Foundation strives to ensure that all proceeds go directly to those who need help the most.
