SITE VISIT REPORT No.1

Darker shade of sawali indicating extent of exposure to rain. One household with 5 members. The biggest family size among those visited.

Another painted house and with a full kitchen extension. The roof was attached to the roof beam of the original house. The family is advised to add a separate corbel on which to attach the roof so the roof beam will not sustain an additional eccentric loading.

Another bedroom partition for the family. One house with satellite TV connection.

Varnish can work well to protect the walls.
