These grants are NOT time consuming - encourage chapters to apply for them

What Has Worked Well

Delete this - brings up too many questions about why we no longer participate in something that was working well
Elizabeth "Libby" Jones
I'd delete this slide as by covering our good fundraising ideas you've already told people they work well

What Has Not Worked Well

• Local Restaurant Fundraisers• Painfully low revenue• Restaurants reluctant to donate under agreed terms

• Sporting event concessions• Not a lot of income for demanding work and rules

2015 REGIONAL CONFERENCES

Elizabeth "Libby" Jones
I would not say that this hasn't worked well - it's a long term project to let our donors know how we used their donations.

It's an Annual Newsletter

Ideas for questions• Has anything that has NOT gone well for us gone well for you?• What has been your biggest “home run” idea for a fundraising event?• What has been your biggest “dead end?” I.E. events that broke even or

were not worth the effort that went into it?• Has anybody had any success with a formal dinner/event?• How much emphasis do you put on your campus fundraising events?• What role to corporate sponsorships play for your clubs?• How do you finance member travel costs?• How much of you club’s resources (people and time) are devoted to

fundraising?• Successful strategies for personal fundraising (friends and family)?• (If any professional members attend) How is fundraising different or the

same for professional chapters.
