The Children of Peace (ONLUS) Funds Orchard in Mali Village

series “Spartan and the Green Egg.” As a part of her connection with children, Nabila Khashoggi plays a large role in The Children for Peace (ONLUS), a charitable movement based in Italy.

The Children of Peace (ONLUS) is a nongovernmental organization that works with children globally other countries. The organization works for the benefit of children by providing educational opportunities in several diverse areas including technology and HIV/AIDS. Apart from educating children, it also sponsors other projects such as building orchards.

The Children of PeaceThe organization has recently started

planting an orchard in Sama, a little village in the Dogon Country in Mali. In coordination with Mujeres Solidarias from the University of Malaga in Spain, the Children of Peace (ONLUS) was able to fund an orchard where the natives can grow local plants and fruit trees. The project is seen to benefit the villagers by providing food as well as a possible source of income.
