Why is work experience abroad necessary?

• Gain a variety of impressions about the work life abroad

• Get an insight view in organizations of another country

• Improve foreign language skills

• Establish international contacts

• Achieve work experience and international expertise

• Get an in-depth insight into the culture of the host country

• Get an important reference for the resume

Age of participants:•Everybody who is of full legal Age in the host country, but not younger than 18 years and no older than 30 yearsParticipants:• All youth / young adults who are interested and

suitable; including former exchange students, RYLA participants, Rotaractors, former Rotaractors, former Interactors

Application:•The local Rotary Club is the gateway

Cooperation:•Existing Rotary Networks may and shall be used(e.g. the Youth Exchange Network).

Individual: Intership/Job Shadowing• For High School Graduates, University Students, Trainees and

young Employees• Duration 1 to 3 month (Visa requirements have to be

considered)• Living preferable in Families• Mostly reciprocal

Group• 6 to 10 Participants travel for 3 to 6 Weeks to a foreign

District• Visit local Industry, Business, Organizations and

Points of Interest• Live in Families or Youth Hostels• Host District/Club organizes a Program
