DESCRIPTION

This presentation explains why charities should consider using Google Apps instead of Microsoft Office. After years of working in IT for large public sector and voluntary organisations which had Microsoft environments, I came to the conclusion that many charities would be better off using Google Apps because they would: - Make it easier for staff and volunteers to share information - Support partnership working with other agencies - Reduce the total cost of ownership This is a version of the presentation I originally gave at the Evolve 2014 hosted by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.
