The above golden words reveal the service message of the Karamyogi Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib, who had devoted every moment of his life for the welfare of downtrodden people of the society. Jeev Sewa Sansthan, is a registered charitable Trust, established in year 1994 and being run with the blessings of Sant Hirdaram Sahib and under the able guidance of his staunch disciple and successor, Rev. Sidh Bhau. The main motto of Trust is to carry out various benevolent activities through its various sister organizations functioning at Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal (India) and in different parts of India, as per above service philosophy of the Saint.

A good number of philanthropists from all over the world are associated with our Trust and are extending their wholehearted support for the upliftment of poor and sufferers.

With the inspiration and blessings of Paramhans Santji, Jeev Sewa Sansthan was formed as an Apex organization, with an objective to co-ordinate all the benevolent activities of the following different social organizations functioning as per the Service Philosophy of the Saint and receive donations for general or specific projects / activities.

EDUCATION OF POOR CHILDREN (Since 1978)

Objectives :- To provide free education to poor meritorious children.

Facilities provided –

•Text books, Note books, uniforms, stationery, calculators, shoes, socks, school bags, school fees, woolen clothes etc.

•Free coaching and monitoring of study by the volunteers

•Food, nutritious and medicinal items to very poor students in addition to free education

Objectives :- To make people self-reliant through vocational & technical training at reasonable fees

•Courses – Information technology, computer, medical lab technology, T. V. repairing, motor winding, house wiring, secretarial practice, short-hand, tailoring, screen printing, cooking, baking, dance, music, jan swasthya, computer hardware, library science, etc.

•Adopted students of Nav Yuvak Parishad, poor widows are provided training free of cost while poor youngsters trained at concessional fees.

•Recognition / affiliation – various institution like NIIT, DOEACC Society, National Institute of Open Schooling, (Government of India, New Delhi), Woman & Child Welfare Deptt., Para Medical Council (Govt. of M.P)

•Deep bore – wells drilled and taps provided at public places.•Over-head tanks constructed in villages to avoid disruptions due to irregular supply of electricity.•bore-wells & tap connections to entire township, Gandhinagar (a nearby suburb) & surrounding 30 villages are covered to benefit more than 3 Lacs of population •Temporary water huts and water tankers are also arranged wherever necessary.

Objective – to provide shelter and other basic amenities to such elderly women who are abandoned by their own relatives or who have no one to look after. Real object is to realize people to take care of their elders. Students of nearby Mithi Gobindram & Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public Schools brought to inculcate service feelings towards elders.

•Accommodation for 40 elderly women – each room with attached lat-bath to accommodate two persons.

•Satsang Hall, Dining Hall, Common Kitchen, Temple for praying.

IN ADDITION TO THE ACTIVITIES MENTIONED IN THIS PRESENTATION, JEEV SEWA SANSTHAN has been extending help to the COUNTRYMEN DURING NATIONAL CONTINGENCIES LIKE WAR, TSUNAMI, CYCLONE, FLOOD, EARTHQUAKE ETC. BESIDES THE NATURAL DISASTERS MAN MADE CALAMITIES ARE ALSO ATTENDED LIKE THE 2008 BOMB BLASTS IN JAIPUR.

JSS, WITH THE HELP RECEIVED FROM THE PHILANTHROPIC NETWORK SPREAD ACROSS THE WORLD, PUTS UP EFFORTS TO REHABILITATE VICTIMS OF SUCH DISASTERS.
