with lightning oral and poster presentations. This insightful event is included FREE OF CHARGE with your four-day ACEP13 registration.

∙ Lightning Oral Presentations will be 5 minutes followed by a 2-minute discussion led by a recognized researcher who has reviewed the abstract prior to the meeting. This format allows investigators to receive feedback and incorporate revisions before submitting the paper for publication. Procedural Cadaver-Based Skills Labs Resuscitation of the critically ill is one of the most stressful and frustrating components of our clinical practice, yet among the

most rewarding. Our patients deserve excellence in our ability to provide safe invasive procedures. These procedures are often required to save a life yet are often not utilized, because of lack of practice and familiarity with the procedure itself, and advances in equipment and technique. These hands-on labs are designed to improve practitioner competence of invasive emergency procedures in a safe and controlled environment. Nationally renowned faculty known for their expertise at invasive procedures will closely supervise each participant. The labs utilize fresh, unembalmed cadavers, which closely simulate the anatomy and feel of an actual patient. Join the lab that will assist you in providing quality care for your patients.

CANCELLATIONS. Full conference registration, less the $100 cancellation fee, is refundable only if submitted in writing to [email protected] on or 30 days prior to the beginning of the conference. Registrations and cancellations received after 30 days are not refundable. All Lab cancellations received after 30 days will not be refunded. Exceptions will be made for family emergencies and must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. For these instances, the registration fee, less the $100 administrative fee will be refunded. You cannot reinstate a registration after you cancel. If you cancel and are entitled to a refund, expect the refund within 30 days. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment type.
