The 4th annual BabyFest event had more than 500 attendees.

Several great door prizes were given away to guests at BabyFest, When attendees visited all 38 booths and got holes punched in their BabyFest punch cards, they were entered into a drawing to win the grand door prize, which was a car seat, stroller, Diaper Genie and diapers.

Kids who attended BabyFest had a chance to meet some of their favorite storybook characters, courtesy of EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens in Wimberley. Tinker Bell, Captain Hook and Peter Pan made special appearances and posed for photos with children.

More children’s activities at BabyFest included face painting and a fun CREATION Health craft, which taught kids about the importance of having a positive Outlook. Outlook is one of the 8 guiding CREATION Health principles that help people live life to the fullest.

BabyFest featured a Health Information Resource Center that provided guests with health-related literature and upcoming community events. Delicious cupcakes with pink & blue icing were served, as well as healthy snacks.

This year’s BabyFest placed a special emphasis on dads. Heath Herrerra, owner of HH Fitness, offered a Fitness Challnege for dads at the event. Read Heath’s advice about NOT neglecting health needs during pregnancy on our blog.
