The following teens committed suicide as a result of cruel online bullying. Their stories reveal how
viscous and damaging cyber-bullying can become.
Ryan committed suicide at the age of 13 in 2003
He was bullied in school starting at an early age, but following his death, his parents logged into his online accounts and found several instances of cyber-bullying of their son
One bully who thought Ryan was gay taunted him for it
A girl whom Ryan was interested in pretended to like him and spread the private information Ryan told her to all of her friends

Jamey committed suicide in September 2011 at age 14
He was bullied for being gay Nasty comments were
posted on his Formspring account: “JAMIE IS STUPID, GAY, FAT
AND UGLY. HE MUST DIE!” “I wouldn't care if you died.
No one would. So just do it :) It would make everyone WAY more happier”

Tyler committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge during his freshman year at Rutgers University
His roommate and another student viewed Tyler’s intimate encounter with another male on a webcam and posted the video on the internet

Jesse was 18 when she hanged herself in her bedroom in 2008
She had sent nude photos to her boyfriend
When they broke up her boyfriend emailed the picture around to other girls, who called her a slut and a whore
