What is Cancer!? (CONT) Cancer is just a term that they use
for disease. Not only that it is one disease, but
there is many of them. The cancer cells will spread
throughout your whole body, by going through your blood system.
There are like 100 different types of cancer.
The name cancer comes from your own body’s cells, that there is no control over.
What is Cancer!? (CONT) Between the years of 2005 and 2099
deaths of cancer was dropping. Cancer is caused by uncontrolled
abnormal cells. The uncontrolled cells are cells that
aren’t normal, like they are different from our normal cells.
The abnormal cells what causes cancer.
Many see the word CANCER as a single disease.
Cancer Prevention.
Main thing with fighting cancer is knowing about the health education.
The negative habits and behaviors need to change.
Dietary, health, physical are key factors to the risk of cancer.
Active lifestyle with physical activities. Daily 30 minutes can decrease
risk for cancer.

The use of tobacco. Leading cause of most cancer and
deaths. If started you should STOP NOW!
And DON’T EVER START. Most of the many cancer can
be taken care of and controlled with early detection.
Alcohol also leads to some cancer. Having to many and consuming a
lot can lead the risk for cancer.

Avoid the exposure of the sun. 10 to 20 minutes can be
effected to your health. Soy Proteins.
It contains proteins to prevent cancer.
Signs of Cancer.
Nagging cough or hoarseness. Difficult in swallowing, and
indigestion. The soreness does heal.
Not normal bleeding or discharge. Seeing the changes of moles or
warts. Bladder problems.

WHAT IS LEUKEMIA!?
Leukemia is one of the many cancer’s. but Leukemia is the cancer that interrupts with the bone marrow and the blood by making abnormal white blood
cells.
Facts on LEUKEMIA
Is a cancer of the blood cells. Leukemia is not only one,
there are different types. The bone marrow is messed
up by Leukemia. The Bone Marrow is what
makes the blood cells. Our body’s immune system
does not work normally because of Leukemia.
Facts (CONT) Every normal person has THREE
main blood cells. White Blood Cells Red Blood Cells Platelets
This is being healthy. WHITE BLOOD CELLS, helps the body
fight infection. RED BLOOD CELLS, this is what carries
our oxygen within our body. PLATELETS, help with the blood clots.
More Facts. (CONT) When having Leukemia, the bone
marrow makes abnormal white cells. The Leukemia cells don’t work as
normal white cells. They also grow faster then the
normal white cells. Leukemia over time will crowd the
normal cell. The Leukemia cells can cause pain
and swelling because it can spread through our organs.
The Four Types Of Leukemia. Acute.
Makes the individual sick right away, and it can get worse really quick.
Chronic. This one gets in affect really slow, and that
symptoms will not cause till later. Lymphocytic.
Are white blood cells that are called Lymphocytes. And Leukemia can affect it.
Myelogenous. Is the same as Lymphocytic, but Leukemia
has affect on the white blood cell called myelocytes.
Treatment. Chemotherapy is used to kill the
cancer cells. Radiation.
X-rays are used to ruin the cancer cell and are killing it.
Stem Cell Transplant. It is to rebuild the normal cells, when
being destroyed. Biological Therapy.
Medicine that is given to you to improve yourself to fighting against cancer.
