Dr. Mari Madsen is well-known for her services. She is licensed to practice by the Medical Board of California. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an honorable member of several medical and surgical societies including Southern California Colon and Rectal Surgical Society, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and American College of Surgeons. She involves herself in LA County Medical Association regularly. For her remarkable contributions, she was honored with Patients' Choice Award (2008-2010) and in 2009; she received On-Time Doctor Award. After receiving her medical degree, she completed her general surgery residency from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
