Patients Benefited
Not only has the number of patients benefited increased in the previous years, but also there has been a gradual change in our approach.
• We are now supporting costly cancer chemotherapies.
• We have dropped the word ‘PROGNOSIS’ to a large extent while assessing a patient for his/her need.
One of our numerous success stories
* Produced with due consent
A one and a half yr old male child with a massively disseminated retinoblastoma.
Prognosis- Dismal (survival chances – few months)
The parents were too poor to support the costly chemotherapy
The chemotherapy was started by the society on the request of the doctors
THE RESULT
* Produced with due consent
