Yes, elder care law and Medicare can be confusing, but we’re going to try to make it a little easier for you. Every year from October 15th to December 7th, Medicare allows beneficiaries to make changes to their benefits. Have you made any money-saving changes to your health care plan lately? If not, read this article, then do some research and check into new options. There may be some that better fits your needs. Who wouldn’t want to cut costs if at all possible and this might just be a good way to save you some money this holiday season!

Plan

Medicare coverage can get pretty confusing. There are dozens of programs with different coverage levels and costs. Elder care law is very complicated to understand to most, but if you take the time, you could potentially save yourself lots of money. Here is a list that we feel are the most important reasons that you should look into changing your Medicare plan this year:

Tips for Changing your

Coverage

To change your coverage ou can call Medicare at 1 (800) MEDICARE or visit their website at www.medicare.gov. Once you get there, click on the first tab “Sign Up/Change Plans”. You will be able to view plans online. There will be a telephone number to call or website to view if you want some more information about that particular plan. The Medicare website even has a performance rating for each plan, which is rated with stars (one star being the worst and 5 starts being the best). Elder care law and changing your Medicare plan is very important, so make sure when you are looking into new programs that you find out which hospitals, pharmacies and doctors you’ll be allowed to use with each plan you are looking into.
