WHY I LOVE ALL SOURCE OF NUTS!

Nuts are my favorite type of food because they are delicious, easy to eat and you can always grab them on the go. Nuts are a really good source of nutrients that include magnesium, manganese, protein, fiber, zinc and phosphorus. Overall, they give me energy and quick boost when I need it.

Macronutrients constitute the majority of an individual’s diet, and they include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, macro minerals, and water. Carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are interchangeable as sources of energy, with fats yielding 9 calories per gram, and protein and carbohydrates each yielding 4 calories per gram. For example, one ounce of almonds contains 6 grams of protein, and only about 160 calories. Proteins are very important as they serve as the building blocks of life. They assist in muscle development and building.

.

Micronutrients are vitamins and trace minerals. Vitamins and trace minerals are labeled as micronutrients because the body only requires them in very small amounts.

One ounce of almonds (about 20 to 24 shelled whole almonds) provides 35 percent of your daily value for vitamin E. Vitamin E may help promote healthy aging.

Vitamins and Trace minerals are inorganic substances that once ingested play a role in a variety of metabolic processes, and contribute to the synthesis of such elements as glycogen, protein, and fat.

Besides being allergic to nuts, there are many other blocks that prevent you from eating them therefore you should try an alternative…

And since nuts are a perfect combo of healthy fats, protein and fiber, you should look for other foods that contain these elements. You can try soy crisps, soybeans, or a couple of avocado slices wrapped in lean turkey.
