Here are some simple things you can do to get the glow in your skin: The first and foremost tip for glowing skin, as I have always suggested, is for you to take care of your skin. If you want a glowing skin, you have got to take care of it. Diligently follow the three simple steps in your daily skin care: Wash, Moisturize and Apply Sunscreen. Salicylic acid or glycolic acid face wash twice daily followed by application of moisturizing cream and sunscreen goes a long way in getting the glow to your skin. Face wash followed by moisturizer application before going to bed is also helpful. Eat right. What you eat, shows on your skin. Ensure your diet contains lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits and plenty of fluids. Certain food rich in anti-oxidants such as papaya, lemon, green tea should be taken in adequate quantities on a regular basis. Sleep well. A good night’s rest shows on your skin. Uninterrupted sleep of 6-8 hours every night keeps the freshness of the skin intact. Also avoid hot beverages such as tea and coffee before going to bed as it has a detrimental effect both on the skin as well as the sleep cycle. Regular facial rejuvenation peeling. Peeling with chemicals like glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid peels off the damaged layer of the skin and gives a rejuvenated look to the face. It is advised to get a peeling done on a monthly basis for best results. Facial rejuvenation LASER. LASER like Nd:YAG and IPL can also be done on a monthly basis and can help achieve glowing skin. Word of advise is to get the LASER sitting done from a certified dermatologist / cosmetologist to avoid any unwanted side effects.
