Gold Award Project!

What is it?

I’m donating hygiene supplies and information to babies and tweens to help the new moms

and young adults feel more confident about their changing

lives!

Who’s it benefitting?

My project benefits Brother Bill’s Helping Hand, a local charity here in

Dallas that helps the 75212 zip code!

Why is this important?

Hygiene products are a constant need for everyone, and they can’t

be obtained with food stamps, which is what most of the people at

Brother Bill’s rely on!

Also, the know-how of health care is a necessary skill to have when

taking care of an infant or becoming an adult!

How is this happening?

Well, I recently had a community drive to collect the supplies I needed which was really great (y’all are very generous!),

and I reached out to large hygiene companies to ask for support. I also used some of the money my troop has raised

over the years to buy what I still needed!

How will the bags get to the people?

I already had my baby bag donation giveaway earlier this month at Brother Bill’s annual Family Talk

Diaper Day event, and it was great! I got to pass out 100 bags to the

moms there!

On December 8th, I’m going out to Brother Bill’s to distribute the tween

bags at their Saturday grocery store!
