Pathogenesis

Infection of Endothelial

cells by KSHV

•Causes Lytic as well as latent infection of Endothelial cells

Creation of locally proliferative milieu by

cytokines and disruption of normal cell proliferation.

•Causing abnormal cellular proliferation and local proliferative environment

Increased growth and proliferation

of cells
