• Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a humanitarian leader, spiritual teacher and an ambassador of peace.

• The founder of The Art Of Living Foundation.

• His vision of a stress-free , violence-free society has united millions of people the world over through service projects and the courses of The Art of Living.

• 5th most influential person in India.

THE BEGINNING

• Born to Smt. Vishalakshi & R.S Venkat Ratnam on 13th May, 1956 at Papanasam, Tamil Nadu.

• Completed graduation in Bachelor of Science at the age of 17 from St. Joseph college, Bangalore.

• Travelled with “Maharshi Mahesh Yogi”, and was invited to give talks, arrange conferences & set up Ayurvedic centres.

• Was earlier addressed as “Pandit Ravi Shankar”, but changed his name due to some reason.

• Works on mental, physical & spiritual level.

• Helps in improving immune system, detoxication, reduce stress, relieve depression, enhance brain function.

THE ART OF LIVING• Founded in the year 1981 & operates globally in 152

countries.• Aims to relieve individual stress, societal problems and

violence. • NGO with UNESCO consultative status. • In 1983 and 1986 held the 1st course of Art of Living in

Switzerland & USA respectively. • Reached to an estimated 300 million people world wide:-
