Anyone over the age of eighteen
Anyone under the age of eighteen (parental consent required)
Anyone can donate regardless of age, ethnic background, or medical history as long as there is no outstanding disease such as HIV.
Kidneys
Heart
Lungs
Liver
Pancreas
Intestines
Tissue ( corneas, middle ear, skin, heart valves, bones, veins, cartilage, tendons and ligaments)
You have the option as to what you want to donate. The medical professionals upon your death will evaluate if your organs or tissue can be used.
There is a Family notification card you can fill out so upon your death , you will have final say so as to all organs and tissue or you choose which to donate.
There are numerous ways to research your thought to becoming a donor or to assist in making a decision that is right for you.
