Parnayavani- Coleus ambioinicus
Introduction:-It was not been told in brahttrayas, it was entered in materiamedica of India in 9th AD.it was mentained by P.V.Sharma asYavanivishesa. Features of this plant resembles KhurasaniAjwain. Vranda Madhava quoted its Krimigna property
But now Coleus forskolin is used instead of Coleusambioinicus

Habitat:-Almost common in Malabar islands & in most parts of India
Morphology:-Herb, fleshy and highly aromatic, much branched Shaft- fleshy Leaves- 1-2 inch length , ovate dentate edged, chordate, thick & hairy. The taste of this leaf is pleasantly aromatic with agreeable and refreshing odour. Flowers- are on a short stem , pale purplish.
