DESCRIPTION
The study took place in four cities: DKI Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Denpasar, and Timika. All four cities were selected based on its experience in responding to the AIDS epidemic which each being dominated by different mode of transmission. DKI Jakarta and Bali had higher cases of HIV and AIDS from injecting drug users [IDU] while Pekanbaru and Timika’s epidemic are fueled by transmission from sex.
