• Here at West opinions are split dealing with relationships.

• 52% of students feel relationships are a good thing to have in high school while 48% believe negatives outweigh positives in young love.

Relationship evils

• Sadly 39.4% of suicides by woman are because of relationship problems.

• However the men here at West say they would never kill themselves over a girl and they don’t know any guy who would.

Relationship evils

• 22.6% of suicides by men are because of relationships.

• 18% of that is between the ages of 16 and 24.

• Relationships were the main cause of suicides from the ages of 15-24

Upsides to a relationship?

• Here at West only 7% of people who are in a relationship regret it.

• On the other side, 8 out of ten males here at West who aren’t in a relationship are happy about not having a lady.

Upsides?

• For the first time since recorded the divorce rate is over 50% as of 2008

• However here at West 92% of students say divorce is the absolute last option and they will try everything to avoid it.

What matters?• 90% of guys said looks are important

• 70% of girls said looks are important

• However when a man sent out three different profiles results varied

• 1. Smart intelligent man uglier picture• 2. A tad less mature but still quite successful and a better

looking man• 3. A dumb sports guy but great looking guy

• Results= more views and responses to the 3rd gentleman

Conclusion

• Apparently relationships are a big part of everyday life.

• It seems that younger people have a tough time dealing with them and it does not get much better as life progresses ( suicide rate).

• The consensus of relationships are pretty much split based on negatives and positives.
