While changing bulbs
• Light bulbs should be changed by grown ups only
• Even grown ups should switch off the electric supply while changing the light bulbs

Sockets
• Do not overload an electric socket
• Do not put anything else inside the socket
• Sockets should be protected with child guards when not in use in households with small children

• Electric cords should not trail on the ground
• Try and avoid unnecessarily long cords
• Replace cords that are frayed

• Electric appliances should be safely stored
• Do not use the appliances near water
