A.)Asymmetry: This is were one half of the mole doesn’t look like the other halfB.)Border: A mole has an irregular, scalloped, or not clearly defined border.

C.) Color: The color of the mole changes one area and the color can be tan, black, brown, white and even blue.D.)Diameter: If the lesion is larger than 6 millimeters (1/4 inch) or larger than a pencil eraser

A early sign of

Melanoma is the ABCD

RULE!!!!

Mekenna had a lesion on

her back..never reported it,

soon it turned into

biopsy which was positive

for Melanoma

she should have never started smoking at 12

years old…

If I would have used this mirror to better

exam myself I could have survived…

she should have put sunscreen and stayed away from the sun…

She could have went to the

doctors…

She should have examined her skin

weekly!

She would still be my

best friend… I love

cupcakes!

If Mekenna self examined herself weekly and went and told her mother to go to the doctor

she could be….

YOU could have dated mekenna…
