Activities:• Attempted to contact 756 organizations• Collected survey sheets from 111 organizations• Interviewed with the key persons from 55

organizations• Established criteria• Discussed selection with the relevant

government organizations• Selected 21 activities as good practices

Task 2: Establishment of a network for sharing knowledge and experience of environmental activities among the relevant organizations

Output: Established Solid Waste Management System Task Force (SWMS-TF)

Activities:• Identified the existing networks AMPL (Water

and Sanitation) and JPL (Environmental Education) Networks

• Focused on solid waste management• Pursued establishing a network for promoting

community based solid waste management under Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation (WSES) Working Group
