Inspect The Whole Family

It's important to inspect your child's hair at least once a week for head lice. If found, you must check everyone in the entire household!

Treatment

In order to properly treat the head lice found on your child (and family), you'll need to use the comprehensive Bye-Bye Lice® Family Treatment Kit that has everything you need. It includes:

Step 1

Wet hair & scalp thoroughly. Next, using a small amount of the natural head lice treatment shampoo, work the shampoo into a full lather and cover the entire scalp.

Without rinsing, cover the head with the plastic cap and wait 10 minutes to let the shampoo soak. Once the 10 minutes has gone by, rinse out the shampoo while avoiding the eyes.

Grab a few paper towels to lightly absorb excess water and immediately dispose of the paper towels. Using the treatment conditioner, apply a small amount throughout the hair and scalp.

Begin using the metal nit comb to go through the hair with thorough strokes. Be sure to rinse the comb under hot water during the process and use the combing solution to keep the hair moist.

After you have thoroughly combed the hair, blow dry hair because lice and eggs are killed by heat but be careful as your child's scalp can be sensitive to the heat.

Once you have completed all of the steps, examine your child's hair and scalp once more. Repeat the previous steps

every 3 to 4 days for two weeks while combing and checking for nits daily. As a preventative measure, wash your child's
