8. APPLYING CATHGRIP Step 1: Prep the application site Trimming
excess hair on application site Wipe with BioPlus+ & allow to
dry (15 seconds) For best results first wipe application site with
alcohol wipe for patients with oily skin or wash with warm water
and non-moisturizing soap. Step 2: Apply hydrocolloid oval Rest
CathGrip on the prepped application site. Remove the release
liners, pressing the hydrocolloid to the skin as you go Hold for
10-15 seconds to secure the seal Step 3: Secure tube with soft,
no-slip grips Rest the tube across the no-slip grips. Slide the
grip through the corresponding hold and tighten until the tube is
secure. To make the straps lay flat, feed excess strap through the
second hole on the opposite strap.
