Aches and pains are very common. Aches and pains can be caused by fatigue, illness, infection or trauma.
An allergic reaction is your body's response to an invader. Many things can cause an allergic reaction, such as dust, pollen, dander, foods and even medications.
Asthma attacks occur when your airways become swollen and inflamed. This causes the muscles around the airways to contract which leads to constriction of your breathing tubes.
When should you visit a Bayfront Convenient Care Clinic?
Bladder or kidney infections are both caused by a bacterial infection that affect the urinary tract. The location of the infection determines what and how you are treated.
Bleeding is the loss of blood. Bleeding can be internal or external. Both types of bleeding are caused by trauma. Internal bleeding is emergent and can lead to death if the location is not identified. If this type of bleeding is suspected, you will be sent to the emergency department so they can run the proper tests in a timely manner. External bleeding will be stopped as best as possible. If stitches are required we will proceed as necessary.

Broken bones are caused by trauma and are very common. We offer digital x-ray to visualize the trauma. We are able to see the fracture and provide splints and crutches if necessary. Should your fracture require further treatment we will refer you to either our Sports Medicine clinic or an orthopedic doctor.

A headache is a continuous pain that occurs in the head. Certain factors can make the pain worse. If the pain is in association with dizziness, nausea, or sensitivity to light you may be suffering from a migraine.
Hives or rashes may look the same. Hives are raised, flat topped bumps that are red in color. A rash is an area of redness on the skin. There are many factors that can cause hives or rashes, such as stress, medication or allergens.

Respiratory conditions vary greatly. Asthma, bronchitis or pneumonia are common respiratory conditions. We treat symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness and fatigue that can be associated with respiratory conditions.
Cold or flu symptoms are very similar. Common symptoms of a cold are mild fatigue, stuffy nose, sneezing and chest congestion. Common symptoms of the flu include fever, body aches, severe fatigue and headache. Don't know which one you have? We offer a rapid flu test in our offices.

A sinus infection is inflammation of the sinuses. It can be mistaken as a cold that just won't go away.

Sore throat is most noted by pain, discomfort and scratchiness. There are many causes of a sore throat, such as cold, flu, or strep throat. WE offer rapid flu tests as well as rapid strep tests in our offices.
Sprains or strains are common injuries and share some of the same symptoms. A sprain is a stretching or tearing of a ligament, where as a strain is a stretching or tearing of a muscle or tendon.

Vomiting and nausea may be caused by many different things such as illness, vertigo, food poisoning and pregnancy. We offer pregnancy testing in our clinics.

Services we offer include:
• With our occupational medicine services we treat most work injuries. Our goal is to work with both the employer and employee to get them back to work as soon as possible.
• We offer a comprehensive drug testing program on site. We offer collection of specimens, testing at our house lab, and MRO services. We also offer blood alcohol testing, as well as breath alcohol testing.
• We offer school and sports physicals for students entering school or starting a new sport.
• EKGs are used when complaints of chest pain are presented. This test is performed in our offices and read by one of our physicians.
• With our state of the art digital x-ray machine we are able to get accurate images of broken bones.
Services we offer include:
• Lab testing, such as blood work and culture testing, can be completed in office. We send all specimens to the lab for testing and have initial results back within 24-48 hours.
• The CDC recommends that HIV testing should be completed every year for everyone ages 13 and older. We offer confidential rapid HIV testing and results.
• If you have high blood pressure, or are just curious, we offer fast, convenient, free blood pressure checks at all or our offices.
• We offer a comprehensive Sports Medicine program at our Northeast location. The doctor is specially trained in how to treat sports injuries and simple fractures.
