24 Hour Dental Care

At Discovery Dental, we understand that dental emergencies happen at the most inconvenient times. You have a presentation at work at 8:00 a.m., but you wake up at 2:00 in the morning with throbbing tooth pain. Your child fractures a tooth at baseball practice when you're scheduled for a professional family photo in a few days.

Dr. Vanama and her entire staff want you to feel comfortable, no matter what day or time it is. That's why we offer 24 hour dental care in Issaquah, Washington.

When Might You Need a 24-Hour Dentist? When it comes to your healthcare, only you can judge whether a situation is an emergency or not. If you think that you or a family member needs to be seen and it can't wait until regular office hours, please don't hesitate to call our office at (425) 276-7062 to request immediate assistance.

The following are some of the most common dental emergencies:

Tooth or Facial Pain: A sudden onset of pain anywhere inside of the mouth or

the lower face could indicate an infection or a dental disorder like TMJ. If you notice a tear or laceration in the cheeks, tongue, or gums, clean the area

as best you can and contact us for additional treatment.

Knocked Out Tooth: If you or a family member knock out a tooth in an accident, try to gather as much of the tooth as possible and place it in a small container. You should also place gauze in the tooth socket to try to stop the bleeding. Dr. Vanama may be able to reattach some or all of your natural tooth if you get to the office promptly.

Loose Tooth: You should seek immediate attention for a tooth that was previously secure but now feels loose. Do not try to force the tooth back into position as this could cause additional damage.

Fractured or Cracked Tooth: A minor chip to your tooth doesn't normally require emergency treatment, but you should call for an appointment as soon as possible. However, a cracked or fractured tooth could indicate damage to its internal structure. It's also likely to cause pain.

Dr. Vanama will examine the tooth to determine what caused the crack or fracture, provide pain relief, and develop a long-term treatment strategy. If you or a family member are bleeding, in pain, or notice any unusual swelling, you're definitely dealing with a dental emergency. Discovery Dental is here to help you feel better 24 hours a day.http://discoverydentalwa.com/
