Glimpse of the country
A Beautiful Arab country in the southeast of the arabian peninsular. UAE is a federation of seven emirates formed on 2nd December 1971. The supreme council has the rulers of all emirates as members. Constitution was adopted in1971
Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is the President of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Abu Dhabi and the Supreme Commander of the Union Defence Force

• Due to the constant increase in demand for quality healthcare and with the efforts taken by the UAE government to promote itself as a medical tourism hub, the healthcare industry in the emirate is witnessing tremendous growth

The Federal Health Insurance Authority (FHIA)
The Federal Law No. 6, which came into force as from 28.08.2007, entrusted the Authority to regulate and supervise the insurance sector in the United Arab Emirates in order to ensure the provision of a favorable climate for its development and promote the role of the insurance industry to indemnify persons, property and liabilities against risks to ultimately protect the national economy; accumulate and grow national savings and invest them to support the economic development in the UAE; encourage fair and effective competition; provide the best insurance services with appropriate coverage at affordable rates, and achieve job Emiratization in the UAE insurance market.

• Directly and indirectly owns &manages government owned health services & hospital in Abu-Dhabi
• Manages 57 primary health centers ,13 hospitals, 3 maternal &child health centers , 3 specialized dental centers,1 center for Autism,5 specialized facility like Rehab , Blood bank , Herbal center
Healthcare management Programs
• Waqaya-Population screening & intervention program for Emiratis implemented by HAAD that currently focuses on Diabetes & Cardiovascular diseases
• Wareed -a Multiintegrated electronic medical records in all 14 public hospital&68 affiliated clinics across Dubai & Northern Emirates, as well as automate all healthcare process across department such as radiology Pathology Pharmacy, Surgery, Accident/Emergency & Registration.
• Tammini Program -a multi initiative information to the public for medical products registered and marketed in the UAE The program also provides warning and medication ,safety alert for existing medical products in the country.
