Steps to follow if you have a Business with Multiple Locations
Do you own a business with multiple locations? Google understands the requirements of ubiquitous business owners. It is very easy to submit, edit, and verify all of your business locations through Google Places Bulk Upload process. If you already have a Google Places Business Listing, try the simple steps mentioned below to add your 10+ business locations.
Step 1• Once you are done with adding your business on Google Places,• Visit https://www.google.com/local/manage/ list to add new listings or
manage your existing listings. • This tool provides dual functionalities considering the requirements of
new or existing users.

Before you import the locations, click on Download the Template. This will help you to accelerate the process of bulk upload. Make sure that all fields are submitted according to the template. Only fill the appropriate fields. Doing so will help you decide what data is appropriate to use for your business. Try to provide as much possible information about your business as you can and try to be as accurate and descriptive as possible with business information in your data file. The whole Google Places optimization process is comprised of perfect business information, appropriate keyword research, images, and video.

Once you upload your file, Google automatically identifies any errors if there are any. Errors are identified by a red highlight in the cell. Google Places allows the errors to be corrected and allows you to export the file to make multiple changes or for safekeeping.

• Once all errors are resolved, you are ready to publish and verify:

Request Verification Google wants to ensure that you are the owner or true representative of the business for which you are creating the Google Listing. Once the location is published you will see a listing of your places with the status set to Request Verification. If you are using the bulk upload feature, than Google also allows you to designate any person associated to your business to handle all the verifications for all places listed. After the verification process is done, you will receive an email from the Google Places team within a couple of weeks to inform you regarding successful verification. Your status will change to “Pending” (as shown in the image below). Now just sit back and let Google do the rest.
