The Difference between Talent Solutions and Marketing Solutions: I know sales often get asked about the difference between LinkedIn Talent Solutions (Recruitment) and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. Below is a very brief blurb that you can communicate to cleints: LinkedIn Talent Solutions helps our clients when they want to use LinkedIn for recruitment or employer branding, compared to LinkedIn Marketing Solutions who help our clients when they want to use LInkedIn as a marketing channel, for things such as branding, product marketing or marketing services. Product-wise there are some differences and some overlaps as well. LinkedIn Talent Solution's main product is LinkedIn Recruiter, a software service/tool that allows clients to subscribe on an annual basis, to help with their recruitment needs. They also offer the Careers Tab on the company page, and in addition recruitment media such as Sponsored Updates, Display and InMails (called Talent Direct) for recruitment purposes. The overlap in product is the media part, where we also offer SU, InMails and Display. The difference is in the purpose of the campaign (marketing or recruitment) and also in the rate card: LinkedIn Talent Solutions media is generally more expensive than us.
