Metatopia is a brand-new business concept with one goal in mind: to help everyone understand everything better. Metatopia is a new approach to learning, as it uses specialized metaphors called "metatopes" to show connections between subjects users already know well and new subjects. The founder of Metatopia has created "common factors" which link subjects in a universal way, so that any subject can be understood better by any other subject. Take photosynthesis, for example. Is it hard for you to remember the steps of photosynthesis or why it would be so hard to change these steps for genetic engineering? Than allow the Metatopists at Metatopia to help. Using their protected common factors, the Metatopists would connect photosynthesis to a dozen different subjects. In this PowerPoint, two such metatopes are covered in detail: photosynthsis is modernist art and photosynthesis is Inception. While Metatopia is only a business idea, with protected common factors and a small database, the founder knows that with the right investment, leadership and energy, Metatopia will become the next Wikipedia or Answers.com. Additionally, Metatopia can be set up to have a community base of metatopists. Individuals who sign up with Metatopia to create metatopes for other individuals. In return, these individuals earn Metaknow points and have the opportunity to compete in Metatopia contests to develop working, real answers to the biggest problems that humankind faces today. Metatopia is truly the first problem-solving system of its kind and has the potential to change the world. This is not wishful thinking, nor is it snake oil. The use of metatopes on a global basis will allow individuals to think more creatively, more critically, and more collaboratively than ever before. Just imagine the possibilities for usage of Metatopia in education, in business, in government and in religion. It is common knowledge that most wars, strikes and rebellions start with either misunderstanding or miscommunication. Metatopia will lead to a more peaceful world. Now everyone can better understand anything. Think of the possibilities of such a system. “The Gate” focuses on parallelism and respectscompleting a painting in parallel brushstrokes and knifework.
