PURPOSE OF THE FORUM CARRY OUT A COUNTY SWOT ANALYSIS IDENTIFY KEY CHALLENGES AND HOW TO OVERCOME THEM IDENTIFY AND PRIORITIES KEY INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES AGREE ON WAY FORWARD

TEA FARMING
Most population drinks after water 24 countries in the world produce tea 75% of world production comes from 5
countries-china, India, Kenya, srilanka and Indonesia- Kenya accounts for 65% of Africa’s total production
World tea consumption is in the increase –demand has increased in the last four years. Kenya /Tanzania are the main producers.
