HISTORY :we began in 2009 as two founders and by following our philosophy, values, and principals, we succeeded in

positioning our Firm as one of the promising and growing law firms in Egypt and in the Middle East.

2011 was a very critical year because of the eruption of the Egyptian Revolution as well as the internal and

external challenges. But despite of all these, we took good decisions, accurately chose our clients and enhanced

our performance, we were able to overcome the crises of 2011 as well as increasing the number of cases which

in turn increased our experience and the number of our staff.

towards the society, AM Law Firm took the lead to participate in the UN Global Compact Program (UNGC) to

enforce the principals of human rights, labor, anticorruption and environment. Due to our effective participation,

we have become the legal advisors of the UNGC Program.

Since we were founded with set specific goals ahead of us and those goals included ways to support our society,

accordingly, we started our Probono System by dedicating free monthly hours for social service.

Litigation:

Our litigation team of attorneys, counselors, and legal experts

has successfully represented our corporate clients before

Egyptian courts of law of all levels. Our team members

work strenuously and meticulously to resolve our clients’ disputes

timely. Our service in this field extends from counsels, legal advice,

representation before court, and management of clients’ official

documents and paperwork at the different Egyptian government

agencies.

Arbitration:

We noted for our leading expertise in international

arbitration, and such forms of dispute resolutions. Our

arbitration team has aboard a group of professional

arbitrators and mediators who have handled several international

arbitration cases over commercial disputes for different clients

including foreign investors. We are backed by an experienced

arbitration team whose years of practice cover international

litigation and enforcement laws, legal proceedings and arbitration

AREAS OF PRACTICE :

Oil and Gas:

We take pride in providing legal services in the oil and gas

sector in Egypt. We serve large oil and gas companies,

including foreign investors. Our experienced attorneys in

the oil and gas field carry out proceedings that cover drafting and

negotiating gas-related agreements, gas sale agreements, licensing

operations are highly informed with the EGPC regulations and

limitations. Our Firm also provides legal assistance to new bidders

wishing to enter into the oil and gas market; by assisting these

bidders in submitting the bidding documents to (EGPC or EGAS).Our

services facilitate concessions and licensing for foreign investment

operations.

Corporate Disputes:

We provide a broad array of corporate legal services to

a divergent client base, ranging from start-up ventures

to large multinational companies. We offer our clients a

full range of corporate and business legal services, including advice

(strategic and legal), pre-contract negotiation, drafting, advising

on documents for establishing companies, subsidiaries and to give

corporate advice on day to day matters, organizing and attending

Board and Shareholders meetings and drafting and certifying

minutes of meetings, and obtaining official authorizations and

licenses.

Intellectual Property (IP):

The majority of our clients are market leaders in innovation;

hence, they need to document their patent rights. We carry

the transactions of a wide variety of disputes regarding

Intellectual property and provide pre-dispute consultations as well

as general, coordinated IP program structuring. Our services in IP

also include registration, enforcement and protection of intellectual

carry out government-related transactions and such other complex

operations.

Labor and Employment:

Labor and employment laws hold up a large part of the

Egyptian employees/employer’s life and work. For that

reason, we offer legal services as per the appropriate

Egyptian laws which help draft and protect employee agreements,

employee handbooks and personnel policies. We provide legal

advice on collective redundancies, employee termination as well

as litigation and dispute resolution services. We promote the more

cost effective Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system, through

which alternative ways to end the labor/employment disputes by

means of negotiations instead of courts of law.

The field of manufacturing and heavy industry has been

growing fast in Egypt. Our team’s experience in the field

telecommunications sector in Egypt. The telecom surge has brought

upon some issues and disputes that require legal attention, and

Founders :As an attorney at law, Dr. Abdallah’s 15 years of experience cover the fields of

Corporate and Business Law, Commercial Law, Civil and Adminstrative Litigations

in multiple areas, as well as Arbitration. He specializes in general corporate work

including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, private

equities, concessions, and oil and gas businesses. As the Managing Partner of

AM Law Firm, Dr. Abdallah has represented several major local and international

firms in different types of lawsuits. He has provided legal advise based on his

experience, vision, and education to multiple Egyptian and foreign clients.

Upon admittance to the Egyptian Bar Association in 2000, Dr. Abdallah took a particular

interest in human rights, legal profession as a social responsibility, and International

anti-corruption initiatives. Dr. Abdallah is a member of the International Union of

Lawyers (UIA), UN Global Compact, Arab Lawyers Union (ALU).

Dr. Abdallah’s extensive education in law assists him in the cases he undertakes. He is a

holder of a PhD degree from the University of South California. He studied Islamic Law

and Private Law at Ain Shams University, and earned a degree in Intellectual Property

from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Founders :Consultant / Abdullah Mohammed Gomaa, Attorney at Law before Court of Cassation,

Administrative Court and Supreme Constitutional Court Co-partner and senior consultant

in AM Law Firm. 40 years of experience in law and legal consultation business. Graduate of

Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University .Speaks both Arabic and English.

Postgraduate studies in legal field in addition to three undergraduate academic degrees

from prominent Egyptian universities. He worked as consultant and head of litigation

and arbitration department in the Firm, and has contributed significantly to obtaining

judgments in favor of our clients. Through his legal efforts and experience, he also

contributed to enabling Firm to obtain advanced position among law firms in Egypt. His

attendance and pleadings before courts and arbitration centers (in judicial and arbitration

cases) had great impact towards relief of our clients.

Fields of Specialization: Civil, commercial, administrative, personal cases for foreigners as

well as drafting international contracts and significant contracting agreements.

He has worked also as consultant for many financial and investment entities and has

supervised and followed all lawsuits regarding their investments whether inside the

country or abroad.
