Background

• Graduates from universities need to hone their skills time and again to stay abreast with the developments in their respective or prospective fields. It is difficult for most of them to join a university again during their work-life. However, they can take a day or two off and join a short training program as offered by a variety of training and development organization.

• This is also an opportunity for the universities and degree awarding institutions to set up and run executive development of their own so that their graduates as well as those from other institutions can turn back to them again and again for a longer, sustained and meaningful relationship. If universities like LUMS and IBA are running them successfully, why others cannot?
