OBJECTIVE

To explore strategic principles of growth for the revelation of

God’s glory.

REFERENCE

Luke 13:6-9

INTRODUCTION-CONCEPTGrowth could be defined as: Increase in value, enlargement, or

expansion.Strategic means:

serving the purpose of, or when it is

purposeful, or deliberate etc.

INTRODUCTION-CONCEPTGod, most

importantly created man for growth.

Growth is required for the fulfilment of

the dominion mandate of God; our leadership

destiny. Gen.1:28-30.

SIGNIFICANCE OF STRATEGIC GROWTH1. PRECAUTION AGAINST EXTINCTION:

extinction means to become out-dated,

existing merely without fulfilling God’s purpose

for your life. It also means becoming a

liability in the society where you live. Luke

13:6-9.

SIGNIFICANCE OF STRATEGIC GROWTH2. SECURITY OF DESTINY

PLACEMENT: it secures your place or

position in your family, your

organization, your community and your nation at large. Luke

16:1-10.

SIGNIFICANCE OF STRATEGIC GROWTH

3. IT BRINGS PROMOTION:

promotion is the result of

preparation plus opportunities. Luke

19:12-27.

STRATEGY1. STRATEGIC VISION

(Imagination): in life you cannot grow beyond your vision

(capacity to visualize the future). Gen.15:1-7, Gen.13.

STRATEGY2. STRATEGIC SKILLS

(Expertise/know-how): a skill is the capacity to convert raw materials into

finished products, it is the ability to multiply resources. Matt.25:14-

30.

STRATEGY

3. STRATEGIC INVESTMENT: this is the capacity to delay gratification to save

excess for the future. Your future cannot be bigger than your seed. Pro.6:8, Luke 15:13.

STRATEGY4. STRATEGIC INITIATIVE: to lack initiative is to lose

the power to knowing what to do and making a move without external

influences dominating. Pro.13:23.

STRATEGY 5. STRATEGIC CONNECTIONS: this

could be defined as the right associations, communities and

relationships your destiny needs to blossom. They

are burden bearers, shearers and way makers.

E.g., Ruth & Naomi, the prodigal son, etc. Luke

15:13.

STRATEGY6. STRATEGIC REASONING: this could be defined as

problem-solving power; ability to

pave your way out of obscurity. Luke

15.

STRATEGY7. STRATEGIC DISPOSITION: this is the quality or state of mind that helps one

overcomes self-imposed limitations

such as; procrastination,

complaining, excuses etc. John 5:1-10.

STRATEGY8. STRATEGIC SENSITIVITY: this is understanding times and seasons, in other to know what to do as

it pertains to your destiny. It also means

unlocking codes. 1Chro.12:32.

9. STRATEGIC SMARTWORK:

smart work means efficient work; not

muscle work. Pro.21:5.

STRATEGY

10. STRATEGIC INFORMATION: this means, acquisition of

the right set of information needed per time for the next

level of progress. Information is power!

CONCLUSION

Your destiny fulfilment is tied to your growth. Thank
